Data Product Manager – OpenData Europe

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Data Product Manager for its OpenData Europe team. The role is fully remote within the UK, Germany or Spain and focuses on building data products that accelerate life‑saving treatments for pharma and biotech customers. You will own the product roadmap, drive strategy and ensure high‑quality data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product plan, scaling customer footprint and defining strategy.
• Architect data strategy, deciding how to source, transform and update country datasets.
• Translate market needs into roadmaps for squads of data engineers, analysts and product operations.
• Identify and apply AI and automation to build scalable, high‑quality data pipelines.
• Partner with sales, strategy and services teams to gather feedback and iterate rapidly.
• Set and enforce KPIs for data coverage, completeness and accuracy.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in data analytics or product management with a track record of extracting value from complex datasets.
• Detail‑oriented, able to execute quickly while maintaining high quality.
• Strong product intuition, capable of ruthless prioritization and backlog management.
• Proficient in SQL for direct database querying, issue investigation and prototyping.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) for managing global stakeholders.
