Data Security Analyst Specialist – Insider Threats

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Madrid as a Data Security Analyst Specialist focusing on insider threats. You will work within the Device and Data Security Team to design, implement and continuously improve security solutions that protect sensitive business data and reduce cyber‑risk across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and deploy technical solutions for data protection and insider‑threat detection.
• Enhance classification, labeling, protection and monitoring of sensitive data throughout its lifecycle.
• Automate security tasks to improve process efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align security measures with business requirements.
• Continuously assess and improve the security posture of devices and data assets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data security principles and insider‑threat concepts.
• Experience in developing and maintaining security controls for data classification and protection.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
