Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)

About the role

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer acts as the primary execution partner to the CEO, overseeing the company’s core revenue‑generating businesses and ensuring strategic priorities are turned into measurable outcomes. This senior leader provides day‑to‑day coordination across the enterprise and steps in as Acting CEO when required.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CEO in overall leadership and management of the organisation.
• Drive execution of the strategic plan and annual business objectives, aligning corporate strategy with departmental goals.
• Lead commercial and revenue‑management functions across Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Trading & Brokerage, and Treasury.
• Monitor business performance against budgets, identify growth opportunities, and ensure profitable operations.
• Oversee enterprise‑wide implementation of board‑approved strategic initiatives and track their delivery.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, collaboration, and client‑centricity.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in financial services or related sectors.
• Proven track record of leading large, revenue‑generating business units.
• Ability to translate corporate strategy into operational execution.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in investment banking, wealth management, trading or treasury.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving profitability, efficiency and shareholder value.
