Deputy Hotel Manager (Hotel Operations)

About the role

Barceló Group is seeking a Deputy Hotel Manager to support the Director in overseeing all hotel operations on the beautiful island of Mallorca. You will ensure high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across both accommodation and food & beverage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the management policy and act as Director in their absence.
• Organise, direct, coordinate and supervise all hotel operations, including rooms and F&B.
• Lead department heads, conduct regular briefings and ensure quality standards are met.
• Handle guest relations throughout their stay.
• Assist in budget preparation, produce fortnightly forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Participate in marketing activities, revenue management and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Oversee staff reporting, ratios, recruitment, performance monitoring and HR policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Assistant Hotel Manager or Junior Manager in a holiday‑product environment.
• Fluent English; additional languages (German, Italian, etc.) are a plus.
• Diploma‑level education in Tourism, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in comprehensive hotel management, operations and guest relations.
• Strong communication and commercial awareness.
