DevOps Engineer (Mid)

About the role

Multiverse Computing, a well-funded deep-tech company founded in 2019 and recognised as one of the 100 most promising AI companies, is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Madrid. The position is hybrid: candidates must be able to go to the Guadalajara office at least once a week, while the other two days of office work can be done in Madrid or Guadalajara.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise the performance, scalability and reliability of the model inference API and other APIs.
• Implement DevOps strategies for the organisation and work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery.
• Identify and implement tools and processes that improve software development and delivery.
• Help deploy the software stack to Fortune 500 clients' servers.
• Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership and propose improvements for the customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or significant experience as a Software Engineer.
• 2-5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Experience with large-scale, secure, high-availability solutions in AWS, using automation for deployment, scaling, monitoring and management (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and deploying, managing and optimising APIs in production.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, and proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Bash, Python, Go, etc.).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and security issues and to deliver under pressure.
• Good command of English and ideally another EU language.
