Digital Account Manager (German Speaker)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is recruiting a Digital Account Manager in Barcelona, working onsite at an HPE office with quarterly business travel. The role manages a set of assigned or acquired accounts, builds and forecasts the sales pipeline, works with outside sales, channel partners and end customers to close deals, and sets and executes the sales strategy for the assigned accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Sell moderately complex solutions, products and services for assigned accounts according to account strategies and plans, partnering with field sales or selling independently
• Create account plans for medium to high complexity accounts
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, working with partners and outside sales to close sales transactions
• Understand client requirements and position company solutions competitively to support retention
• Build a targeted sales pipeline and forecast data-driven sales activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (IT or Business Administration preferred)
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
• Curious, eager to learn, ready to take decisions and responsibility
• Relationship selling and new business approach
