Digital Business Expert - Customer Communication

About the role

ING is seeking a Digital Business Expert focused on delivery to join a multidisciplinary squad that builds and maintains the Customer Communications Platform. The role bridges business needs and technical delivery, ensuring solutions are defined, built, and released correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and backlog items in Azure DevOps.
• Define acceptance criteria and collaborate with developers during refinement sessions.
• Monitor the development lifecycle to guarantee timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Support testing activities and validate functionality before release.
• Track solutions in production, participate in incident analysis, and drive resolution.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the platform and its customer communication capabilities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in Agile (Scrum) environments.
• Proven ability to work closely with technical teams such as developers and architects.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on execution and delivery.
• Experience with complex systems, multiple integrations, and production follow‑up.
• Interest or background in customer communications tools (messaging, notifications, orchestration).
