Digital Presales Architect (French Speaker)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Digital Presales Architect in Barcelona, working onsite from an HPE office. The role designs solutions that meet customer business and technical needs across hardware, software, services and service offerings, and works with third-party components. It focuses on technical selling to customers and partners, and may be aligned to specific accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present customer proposals, identify key risks, give work estimations and recommend sourcing models.
• Review proposals for accuracy, relevance and competitiveness, and support the sales process to closure.
• Perform due diligence on technical designs, workload needs, service levels and budgets.
• Monitor emerging technologies, competitor offerings and trends, and build the pipeline by spotting enhancements, unmet needs, up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Take part in sales forecast meetings, document work throughout the sales cycle and share best practices.
• Build relationships with customer technical teams and partners, and support partner enablement.

Required profile

• First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 2-4 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical selling.
• Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and the applicable local languages, in person and virtually.

Required skills

• Intermediate experience in solution configuration, architecture design, demos and proofs of concept.
• Understanding of HPE's product portfolio, aaaS business models and partner offerings.
• Consultative and value selling, presentation, whiteboarding, objection handling and closing.
• Intermediate knowledge of CRM systems and project and time management.
