Director, Market Delivery – Spain & Portugal

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Market Delivery to lead its Market Delivery & Technology Account Management team for Spain and Portugal. The role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, technology implementation and delivery governance, ensuring Mastercard solutions are successfully onboarded, optimised and supported throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Market Delivery and Technology Account Management professionals, setting priorities and fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused culture.
• Oversee technology partnerships with strategic customers across Spain and Portugal, acting as senior escalation point for complex issues.
• Personally manage selected high‑profile customer relationships and strategic projects, ensuring delivery excellence.
• Drive successful onboarding, implementation and ongoing support of Mastercard solutions, overseeing project governance, risk management and dependency tracking.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to remove obstacles, develop talent and ensure consistent execution across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven people‑leadership experience in a technology‑focused delivery environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to manage strategic customer relationships.
• Hands‑on delivery ownership, operational discipline and experience managing complex, high‑visibility projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
