Director of Event Management

About the role

The Director of Event Management will be based on‑site in Marçà and will lead the full lifecycle of events at DosTerras Wine Garden & Guest House. This senior position oversees sales, planning, execution and post‑event follow‑up for a variety of experiences, from weddings to corporate retreats.

Key responsibilities

• Drive event sales and marketing, source leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Develop tailored event proposals, manage budgets, negotiate contracts and ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain a network of service providers (catering, music, flowers, décor, AV, transport) and oversee vendor relationships.
• Coordinate event timelines, staffing schedules and guest communications to guarantee seamless execution.
• Supervise setup, breakdown and on‑site service quality, collaborating closely with culinary, hospitality and wine teams.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in event marketing, sales and management within hospitality, luxury or wine‑focused venues.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, internal teams and external partners.
• Experience in lead generation, contract negotiation and long‑term client relationship building.
• Resident in the Priorat or Tarragona area, available for immediate start.
