Director of FP&A and Analytics

About the role

Oyster is seeking a Director of FP&A and Analytics to lead its newly consolidated FP&A and Analytics team. You will provide financial insight, planning, and analytical capabilities to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and influence strategic decisions.
• Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Prepare financial reporting and performance insights for board and investor updates.
• Drive pricing analytics and commercial insights through the Deal Desk framework.
• Implement AI, automation, and scalable workflows to improve forecasting and reporting.
• Build and develop a high‑performing FP&A and Analytics team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance with leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through data‑driven insight.
• Strong commercial acumen in SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.
• Experience leading planning, forecasting, and performance processes in a high‑growth, remote‑first environment.

• Looker (experience with business intelligence and planning tools).
