Director of Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

The Director of Mergers & Acquisitions leads SITA’s inorganic growth agenda, reporting to the CFO and Head of Corporate Finance. You will be responsible for building a high‑quality M&A pipeline, rigorously assessing opportunities, and converting them into value‑creating transactions that support the company’s medium‑term growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain an executable M&A pipeline aligned with SITA’s strategic priorities and capital allocation framework.
• Qualify, value, structure, negotiate, and close bolt‑on acquisitions in priority domains.
• Ensure all transactions comply with governance, approval, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Own the pipeline qualification framework, classifying opportunities and reporting on readiness, risks, and capital exposure.
• Lead post‑transaction reviews and lessons‑learned sessions to continuously improve deal quality.
• Act as principal advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board on inorganic growth strategy and execution.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in M&A, preferably within technology or aviation sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align deals to corporate growth objectives.
• Excellent governance and risk‑management mindset.
• Ability to work closely with business units, strategy teams, and senior executives.
