Director/a Veterinario/a – Clínica de Pequeños Animales en Oviedo

About the role

We are looking for a Veterinary Director to lead a small-animal clinic in Oviedo, Asturias. The role combines clinical practice with team management, offering a stable environment with continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment and preventive medicine for small animals.
• Perform soft-tissue surgeries and oversee surgical protocols.
• Coordinate and lead a team of three veterinarians and two veterinary assistants.
• Organise workflow, manage patient flow and support the overall management of the centre.
• Ensure high standards of client communication and service.

Required profile

• Veterinary degree recognised and registered in Spain.
• At least 4 years of clinical experience, with proven soft-tissue surgical skills.
• Strong organisational, leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
• Motivation for continuous professional growth and clinical management.
