Electrical Superintendent

About the role

Gransolar Group is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join its Madrid office and later relocate to the United States for a solar project in Kentucky. The role involves planning, designing, organizing and supervising the electrical construction activities of large‑scale photovoltaic plants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in negotiating and closing electrical assembly sub‑contracts.
• Validate technical and media training of subcontractors submitting bids.
• Define work sequences, areas and allocate supervisors to specific contracts.
• Review progress reports and incident logs from supervisors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve any incidents that arise.
• Supervise subcontractor invoicing and provide approval before final sign‑off.
• Control delivery of electrical materials to the site and liaise with purchasing/logistics for issue resolution.
• Ensure work progress aligns with the contract schedule and implement corrective actions for delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (higher degree preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in photovoltaic plant construction.
• Proficiency in English at B2/C1 level.

• AutoCAD.
• MS Project (user level).
