Energy & Sustainability Manager – Sevilla

About the role

Airbus Defense and Space is looking for an Energy & Sustainability Manager to join the TFS & Energy Spain Team within the Facility Management Real Estate (FMRE) organisation in Sevilla. You will drive the implementation of the site sustainability roadmap, support decarbonisation targets and ensure efficient energy use across our industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the FMRE sustainability roadmap at the site level, focusing on decarbonisation, energy reduction and resource efficiency.
• Lead the Energy Management System (ISO 50001), ensuring compliance, auditing and continuous improvement for the assigned plants.
• Manage turnkey efficiency projects (CAPEX/OPEX) from technical assessment and financial planning to execution.
• Oversee energy billing, supply contracts and budgets to optimise costs.
• Drive digitalisation using tools such as BMS and eSight for real‑time data analysis and optimisation.
• Coordinate with Production, FALs and other stakeholders to balance operational needs with energy‑saving targets.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Master level preferred, EQF7/MECES 3).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management and sustainability within industrial environments.
• Proven expertise in ISO 50001 standards, energy markets and digital monitoring tools.
• Advanced English and Spanish (C1) language skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other Airbus sites in Spain.
