Engineering Lead - Frontend

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for an Engineering Lead with a strong Frontend background. The role leads a team of software engineers and drives the technical direction of web experiences and platforms, combining frontend engineering, architecture, delivery and people leadership. It is a hands-on position close to the code, working with Product, Design and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
• Drive the technical direction of frontend platforms and web experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design and key engineering decisions.
• Build scalable, performant and maintainable solutions for high-volume user-facing products.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Improve engineering efficiency through technical standards, tooling and automation.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance, quality, reliability and developer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, Lead Frontend Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance and scalability.
• Comfortable staying hands-on and making technical and architectural decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting their professional development.
• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with Product and Design.
• Experience with high-traffic digital products or fast-growing technology companies is a plus.

Required skills

• Frontend engineering with modern web technologies.
• JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Angular or similar.
