English Speaking Customer Service and Sales Support (UK & Ireland)

About the role

Axalta, a coatings company with a global presence, is looking for an English-speaking Customer Service and Sales Support Specialist to join its UK Customer Service team at its facility in Asturias, Spain. The role suits a highly autonomous, solution-oriented and process-driven professional who can handle several tasks at once, from active phone calls to SAP and Salesforce data management, while following company procedures and meeting team KPIs. After a 1-month training period, the post-holder works independently.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for key UK customers, distributors and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of order delays caused by supply, production or logistics issues.
• Manage the full order process from inquiry to delivery, verify orders and perform quality checks, monitoring open orders daily.
• Follow procedures and quality standards such as QS 9000 and ISO, track KPIs like order accuracy, response times and OTIF, and handle complaints and returns.
• Maintain customer master data, support cash collection and credit holds, and help resolve credit issues such as invoice adjustments and debit/credit notes.
• Monitor sales against forecasts, support account reporting and volume tracking, and back up Junior and Senior CSRs when needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English is mandatory; a second language is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A background in planning or logistics is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP experience and Salesforce experience are a must-have.
• Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
