Entry-Level Payroll Associate – Sweden

About the role

Strada, a global provider of payroll, human capital management and financial management solutions, is looking for an entry-level Payroll Associate fluent in Swedish. The position is fully remote from Spain or hybrid in Granada, and supports a selection of clients in Sweden. Candidates receive training and development to launch their career in payroll delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers with client management, ensuring information is accurate and delivered on time.
• Provide support and guidance for implementations and go-lives, and give daily functional support to teams delivering payrolls.
• Maintain the Client Solution workbook and update, maintain and enforce Defined Work Instructions and other process documentation.
• Ensure and sign off system maintenance testing, and support the review of Statements of Works before sharing them with clients.
• Resolve escalated technical and functional issues, logging defects with the necessary detail and evidence.
• Work with Operational Management, Transformation and Products on automation, innovation and continuous improvement programmes.
• Manage the legislation roadmap, keeping the team upskilled on upcoming changes and updating processes where needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately, and support management with client escalations and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Fluency in Swedish and English; Spanish is not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An appetite to grow a career in the European/global payroll sector.
• Customer-facing experience in a B2B environment preferred.
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship.
