EU Competition Lawyer – Consumer Business

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven EU Competition Lawyer to join a fast‑moving B2C organisation. The role offers high visibility, partnering with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to shape business strategy across European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on EU competition law matters, focusing on abuse of dominance and horizontal/vertical agreements.
• Provide competition law support for M&A transactions, including risk assessment, merger control, and post‑deal integration.
• Design and implement practical, commercially focused compliance programmes for a consumer‑facing business.
• Support distribution models, pricing strategies, and commercial partnerships within a B2C framework.
• Liaise with external counsel and, where relevant, competition authorities.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years post‑qualification experience in EU competition law.
• Strong expertise in abuse of dominance and agreement analysis, preferably in a consumer‑focused environment.
• Proven experience advising on competition aspects of M&A transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to build and roll out effective compliance frameworks.
• Commercial mindset with clear, actionable communication skills.
