Expert AI & Automation Engineer

About the role

DTCP is an independent investment management firm with EUR 5 billion in assets under management and over 90 professionals, investing in digital infrastructure, technology and AI companies, and in defence technologies. As an AI & Data Engineer, you will turn agentic AI, automation and data into practical solutions on DTCP's existing platforms, helping the investment and corporate teams streamline processes and cut manual work. The position is based in Valencia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise AI and automation use cases, translating business requirements into workflows, agent roles and review processes
• Configure AI agents on approved platforms and integrate them with existing systems and data sources
• Set up and maintain the company's data, develop data models and ensure data quality for reporting and AI applications
• Test, monitor and continuously improve AI solutions to ensure reliability
• Train colleagues on AI solutions, support their rollout and maintain user guidance and documentation

Required profile

• Practical experience in AI implementation, data engineering, automation or a comparable technical role
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical topics clearly
• Structured, reliable, detail-oriented and analytical, with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Professional proficiency in English; German is an advantage
• Preferred: knowledge of workflow automation tools and low-code/no-code platforms, understanding of AI governance, data protection and information security, and experience supporting the adoption of new technologies
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
