Field Service Engineer - Robotics

About the role

Stäubli, a global manufacturer of mechatronic solutions, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its South West Europe Region Robotics department. The role sits within the ROBOT and AGV Technical Service team and works with internal clients (Sales, Marketing) and external customers, covering pre-sales needs definition and post-sales troubleshooting, maintenance and installation of robots and AGV/AMR.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and repairs at customer sites, including travel, maintenance, repair and commissioning of equipment.
• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks at the Stäubli workshop in Sant Quirze del Vallès and report tasks internally.
• Take part in the technical service team's assistance hotline.
• Support the sales team with technical assistance in simulations and the technical definition of new projects, including assembly and participation in technical simulations.
• Provide product training to customers at Stäubli facilities, including maintenance and operator training.
• Assist the technical service of other divisions and the warehouse when workload is high and availability allows.
• Ensure proper operation of installed or repaired machines, maintain company standards and achieve the technical department's objectives.

Required profile

• Vocational training (CFGS/CFGM) in robotics or demonstrable prior experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in robot or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Availability for national and international travel, about 30% of the time.
• Valid driving licence in Spain.
• Problem-solving skills, teamwork, adaptability to change and resilience.

Required skills

• English at B2 level (speaking, understanding and writing) is mandatory.
• Spanish at Advanced level.
