Field Technical Engineer - EP (Sevilla)

About the role

Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) team is hiring a Field Technical Engineer based in Sevilla, Spain. You will give expert support and advice on the use of Abbott EP products within your assigned territory, working closely with sales teams, physicians and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales representatives and customers on Abbott medical products.
• Assist physicians with education wet labs.
• Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phases of clinical studies, collaborating with the Therapy Marketing Group.
• Perform product presentations and train users on new products.
• Analyse competitors' devices and update the marketing database.
• Provide market information to the sales department and produce monthly activity reports.
• Follow Abbott's quality, regulatory and business ethics procedures.
• Plan weekly travel, keep your manager informed and help build the yearly operating plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in sciences or biomedical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrophysiology, clinical roles or an equivalent industry position.
• Fluent English (B2-C1 mandatory).
• Willingness to travel extensively (about 50% of the time) and to work autonomously with irregular schedules.
• Driving licence.

Required skills

• Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocols (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology (preferred).
• Active listening, questioning techniques and good communication skills.
