Finance Controller – Life Sciences & Health & Nutrition

About the role

Tradebe is seeking a Finance Controller for its Life Sciences & Health & Nutrition division in Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona). Reporting directly to the CFO, you will safeguard the financial health of the business, lead accounting, tax and reporting activities, and support strategic decision‑making across an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of approximately 10 professionals.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closings, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
• Manage the external audit process and act as the primary point of contact.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant financial regulations.
• Drive cash‑flow reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders, including teams in the United States.
• Support M&A and integration initiatives.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in external audit (Big 4 or similar).
• Proven experience in multinational environments.
• Strong background in financial reporting and accounting operations.
• Demonstrated team‑management experience.
• Fluent English with a proactive, self‑starter mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management abilities.
