Finance Intern

About the role

The Hoxton Poblenou, an 11th Hoxton hotel in Barcelona with 240 bedrooms, a restaurant, rooftop pool and events space, is looking for a Finance Intern. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the intern supports daily business operations for 5-6 months starting in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and provide accurate and timely financial reports
• Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Develop specific goals and plans, prioritising and organising work
• Submit reports on time and meet delivery deadlines
• Daily reconciliation of revenues and preparation of the daily Income Audit Pack
• Comply with applicable laws related to fraud and collection procedures

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Economics or Business Administration
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork and achieving goals
• Scarily organised, able to multi-task and re-prioritise as things come in

Required skills

• Good use of Excel
• Knowledge of any management system is considered a plus
