Senior Finance Systems Analyst (NetSuite)

About the role

Nexthink, a software company focused on digital employee experience management, is looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst (NetSuite) to join its Finance Transformation team in Madrid. The role supports finance transformation projects end to end, helping Finance use systems and AI to work smarter, and is described as a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ongoing Finance Transformation projects end to end, working with finance and non-finance partners to define requirements, secure funding and budget approvals, write the project plan and run the implementation.
• Contribute to the ERP and finance systems roadmap for the next 5 years, assessing current maturity against the target.
• Support the EPM landscape (planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation), including Workday Adaptive Planning and its integration with NetSuite.
• Identify, prototype and implement AI use cases in Finance (reconciliations, AP/AR automation, reporting, forecasting) with IT, Security and Legal.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Sales Operations, Procurement and FP&A teams, and support internal non-finance partners.
• Work with vendors on system resolutions, upgrades and fixes, and attend regular vendor meetings (NetSuite ACS, Expensify, SFDC, procurement and integration partners).

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, finance or a related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in ERP, FP&A, SFDC or other finance systems; NetSuite is a must-have.
• Project management skills, including facilitation, running large meetings and workshops, and writing requirements and RFPs/RFIs.
• Data analysis and insight skills, with solid teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
• Eager to implement AI in Finance, aware of data privacy, governance and AI risk.

Required skills

• Hands-on NetSuite experience: P2P (purchase order creation to closing/receipt, including 3-way match), O2C and other end-to-end processes.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience with an EPM/planning tool is a strong plus; Workday Adaptive Planning is a bonus, as are tools such as Anaplan, Planful, Oracle EPM or OneStream.

What we offer

• Permanent contract, base salary of 33,000 to 63,000 EUR gross per year, with an on-target earnings range of 36,300 to 69,000 EUR including a performance bonus.
