Financial Controller (French/English) – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing startup consultancy in Barcelona. You will work with international clients, providing financial controlling, analysis, and reporting support in both French and English.

Key responsibilities

• Support all finance and reporting needs of startup clients, delivering business‑driven insights through FP&A activities such as forecasting and budgeting.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and business analysis tools.
• Ensure accurate financial metrics, reporting standards, and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with external accountants, banks, and tax advisors.
• Manage P&L results, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting in collaboration with client internal resources.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.

Required profile

• Native‑level French and fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or controlling; startup experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
