Food & Beverage Server

About the role

Join a leading hotel brand in Barcelona as a Food & Beverage Server, delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. You will work in a dynamic environment, handling food and beverage service for a variety of events and daily restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with service standards.
• Set tables based on event type and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and utensils.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout the service.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to work full‑time, stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
