Founders' Associate

About the role

Causaprima is hiring a Founders' Associate in Madrid, a hands-on executive assistant who works directly with the three co-founders and owns the execution behind their decisions. The role spans finance, fundraising support, recruiting, GTM support and internal AI automation, and the scope changes daily.

Key responsibilities

• Frame strategy early: analyse new business models, markets or partnerships and give the founders a direction before resources are committed.
• Run financial operations across three entities (US, Germany, Spain): bank accounts, payroll, invoicing, spend and receipt tracking, month-end coordination, and automation where possible.
• Participate in recruiting: source and screen candidates, prepare and run structured trial days, and help close top talent.
• Build internal AI agents (e.g. with coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex) to automate repeated tasks.
• Support GTM: target account research, outbound infrastructure, CRM hygiene, event operations, and investor updates and briefing materials.
• Own gaps: legal coordination, vendor management, office logistics, and the weekly all-hands deck and meeting follow-ups.

Required profile

• 3-4 years in a high-intensity environment, ideally in consulting, banking, VC/PE or an early-stage startup.
• Genuine AI-native: you already use AI agents to do real work and can show how you have automated a workflow.
• Ability to switch between strategic framing and operational detail, with extreme ownership and analytical range.
• Fluent English; Spanish or German is a plus.

Nice to have: fintech, B2B SaaS or CFO-office experience, exposure to fundraising rounds, and prior startup experience.
