Founding Business Development Representative (BDR) - SP

About the role

Dandy is building its first SP BDR team to generate leads and fill the top of the sales funnel as it launches its go-to-market function from the ground up. The role supports both inbound and outbound sales: engaging dental practices that show interest and proactively generating new opportunities through outbound prospecting. It is based in-office in Barcelona, and fluency in Spanish is required, with Catalan a strong plus.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for a wide range of dental practice prospects.
• Generate new business through outbound channels including email, phone and creative outreach tactics.
• Pitch the Dandy value proposition, handle objections and move prospects through the funnel.
• Track sales activity using Salesforce and other tools, and continuously improve your processes.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives for seamless client handoffs.
• Contribute ideas to build the SP BDR function from scratch, shaping processes, tools and strategy.

Required profile

• 1-2+ years of professional sales experience in a high-growth environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new sales concepts through rigorous training.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and ramp up quickly.
• Overall track record of professional and academic success.
• Fluency in Spanish; Catalan is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Experience with cold calling (SMB targets are a big plus).
• Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to implement new ones.
• Bonus points: outstanding professional references, experience with marketplace models, love of blitz growth environments, and a positive, humorous attitude.
