Founding Forward Deployed Engineer - French Speaking

About the role

HappyRobot.ai is seeking a founding Forward Deployed Engineer to join its French‑speaking team. You will blend strong full‑stack development skills with excellent customer communication to help enterprises adopt and maximise the value of HappyRobot’s AI workforce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with French‑speaking customers from onboarding through ongoing usage, ensuring smooth integration of AI solutions.
• Design and build new features, MVPs, and scalable full‑stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Develop AI/ML components such as LLM prompting, voice model tuning, and transcription services.
• Manage APIs and third‑party system integrations to deliver seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Iterate on AI solutions based on feedback and evolving requirements.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Required profile

• Native or fluent French speaker (C1/C2 level) for direct customer communication.
• Strong full‑stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and voice tuning.
• Ability to manage APIs and integrate third‑party systems.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
