Freelance Senior Data Solution Engineer

About the role

MyTraffic, a location intelligence platform serving over 500 customers across Europe, is hiring a freelance Senior Data Solution Engineer for a 4 to 5 month mission within its Custom Solutions team. The team is at peak demand and needs someone to own custom data projects end-to-end, unlocking projects that would otherwise be turned down. The role is fully remote from Barcelona or Madrid, with a daily rate of around 450 EUR.

Key responsibilities

• Own around 2 custom client projects per month, from needs qualification to final restitution
• Build deliverables yourself: Python (pandas) notebooks, SmartDash dashboards, mockups and SQL (BigQuery / Snowflake)
• Turn client needs into a scoped, sellable analysis and build deep models such as footfall and performance forecasting
• Present results directly to clients, answer questions live and turn feedback into next steps
• Document each project clearly so the work outlives the mission and share insights with the Product team

Required profile

• 3+ years in a technical or solution engineering role in a SaaS company, delivering analyses or custom solutions to external clients
• Fluent Spanish and English; French is a plus
• Freelance status with your own company structure, based in Barcelona or Madrid, available for a full-time 4 to 5 month mission starting ASAP
• Client communication, autonomy, ownership, agility and ability to work in parallel fast-paced projects

Required skills

• Creating client-ready dashboards, mockups and presentation decks
