French Lead Multimedia Content Reviewer

About the role

The French Lead Multimedia Content Reviewer will ensure the highest linguistic quality of French‑language content across multimedia platforms. Working within Welocalize’s Opal platform, you will lead a team of reviewers, edit and proofread marketing and storefront copy, and support translation and quality initiatives for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread French content to meet accuracy and style standards.
• Create engaging marketing copy and storefront descriptions in French.
• Report recurring issues and contribute to database and product improvements.
• Test review tools and provide feedback for efficiency gains.
• Perform translations and ad‑hoc review tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to define language quality expectations, track KPIs, and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Lead arbitration processes and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in client calls, document discussions, and follow up with linguists.

Required profile

• Background in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Proven creative writing abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Passion for music, film, and technology.
• Familiarity with iOS and macOS environments.

Required skills

• Strong French editing and proofreading expertise.
• Experience with content creation and marketing copy.
• Knowledge of quality management processes and KPI tracking.
