Frontend QA Engineer

About the role

DKB Code Factory is looking for a Frontend QA Engineer to join its collaborative, learning-first tech hub. As the quality advocate of the team, you will help shape testing practices, drive automation efforts and ensure reliable software is delivered, working closely with developers, product stakeholders and fellow engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach for web applications, becoming the go-to person on testing topics in an agile environment.
• Ensure test readiness across infrastructure, environments, browsers and test data so tests run smoothly and reliably.
• Design, implement and expand automated test coverage for web frontends, including UI, component, end-to-end and cross-browser testing, as well as API integrations.
• Work with developers, UX and product stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements and prevent defects early.
• Analyse test failures and defects, support root-cause analysis and spot recurring quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Share regular testing insights, results and quality metrics with stakeholders to support release decisions.
• Contribute to Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices.

Required profile

• QA and test automation experience for web applications, with knowledge of testing principles, test design and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on experience with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright, covering component, integration, visual regression and end-to-end testing.
• Programming experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or similar, and an interest in improving testing practices.
• Familiarity with API validation and mocking, test environments, test data management and cross-browser and responsive testing.
• Fluent English and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
