Full Stack Developer

About the role

Bookboost is a hospitality engagement platform that unifies guest data, automates personalised communication and helps hotels drive revenue and loyalty. It is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build the next stage of its platform, working with a small engineering team that has latitude on technical direction. The role moves beyond writing syntax to designing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable, high-performance applications across the stack
• Develop responsive Angular frontend applications
• Design APIs focused on event-driven architecture and real-time data
• Work on edge computing with Cloudflare Workers, migrating services to edge runtimes to improve performance and reduce latency
• Make architectural decisions that last beyond the original tickets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product and Operations

Required profile

• 4+ years of full-stack development with modern frontend and backend technologies, owning production systems
• Strong backend in Node.js or another JavaScript runtime, with TypeScript; PHP and Laravel are a plus
• Relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation
• Modern frontend frameworks, particularly Angular
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, KV and Workflows, or other edge runtimes
• Understanding of cloud architecture, particularly AWS
• Fluent English; Swedish is not required
