Full Stack Developer – STIBO Step

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the BASF Digital Hub in Madrid and work on the Stibo STEP master‑data platform. You will help build reliable, scalable data solutions that support BASF’s digital transformation across the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, estimates and timelines.
• Develop and maintain features on the Stibo STEP platform, including workflow customisation, business‑rule scripting (JavaScript), WebUI enhancements and data‑model configuration.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, task management and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Apply continuous testing, monitoring and optimisation, including security and access‑control measures.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve issues within the STEP environment, documenting solutions and progress.
• Support data‑integration activities by modelling and linking internal and external data sources.
• Contribute to BASF development communities, sharing knowledge and driving innovation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in technical development and configuration.
• Strong interest in master‑data management and data‑driven solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, agile environment.
