Full Stack Developer – STIBO Step

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Madrid as a Full Stack Developer working on the STIBO Step platform. You will help build and maintain the master data management (MDM) backbone that powers digital innovation across the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, estimates and timelines.
• Develop, customize and maintain features on the STIBO STEP platform, including workflow extensions, business rules (JavaScript), WebUI components and data‑model configurations.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, task tracking and to implement CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering reliable, scalable MDM solutions aligned with a global data strategy.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Stibo STEP platform experience.
• JavaScript programming.
• Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, work items).
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Web UI development and data‑model configuration.
