Full Stack Engineer – Climate Tech Startup

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to join a fast‑growing climate‑tech startup in Barcelona. You will work on both the web platform (Vue.js, PHP) and the mobile app (React Native), delivering end‑to‑end features that help reforestation and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features across the web and mobile applications.
• Build robust, modular backend services, APIs and database schemas.
• Collaborate with the tech team on architecture decisions, code reviews and problem solving.
• Map and analyse workflows to define system scope before coding.
• Own feature delivery from data model design to frontend implementation.
• Prototype rapidly and industrialise solutions, selecting the appropriate stack (PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript).
• Ensure observability and failure handling are built into all development work.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack development experience in production environments.
• Strong ability to model data and design databases before implementation.
• Experience with modular, composable service architectures.
• Analytical problem‑solving mindset with a focus on root‑cause resolution.
• Motivation to contribute to climate‑tech and sustainability goals.
