Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to join a climate‑tech startup in Barcelona. You will work on both the web platform (Vue.js, PHP) and the mobile app (React Native), delivering end‑to‑end features that support our reforestation and sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the web platform (Vue.js, PHP) and mobile app (React Native).
• Design and implement backend services, APIs and scalable database schemas.
• Collaborate with the tech team on architecture decisions, code reviews and problem‑solving.
• Map and analyse workflows to define system scope before coding.
• Own features from data‑model design through API exposure to frontend delivery.
• Prototype rapidly, select appropriate stacks and ensure observability and robust failure handling.
• Leverage AI tools to improve code quality and automate workflows.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack development experience with production‑grade systems.
• Strong database design skills and experience with modular service architecture.
• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, state management, integration patterns, failure handling and observability.
• Hands‑on experience with PHP, RESTful APIs and Vue.js; comfortable with a variety of tools.
• Analytical problem‑solving approach and ability to fully diagnose issues before implementation.
• Based in Barcelona and able to work onsite.
