About the role

Join King’s Central Web Tech team for Candy Crush Saga and help create amazing gaming experiences for millions of players worldwide. As a Full‑Stack Software Engineer you will design, build, and optimise both front‑end and back‑end components that power our beloved mobile games.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and test new game features or optimise existing ones.
• Take an active part in feature creation from concept to delivery.
• Own the technical metrics of the work items you deliver.
• Contribute high‑quality, well‑structured code to the global code base.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience with a passion for gaming.
• Willingness to share ideas and collaborate with a global team.
• Enthusiasm for creating the next big thing in mobile entertainment.

Required skills

• Typescript, React, Node.js, Java
• SQL and NoSQL database design and optimisation
• RESTful API, RPC and real‑time communication via WebSockets
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployment and scaling
• JWT and OAuth authentication protocols
• GitHub for version control and collaborative workflows
• Responsive design for cross‑platform performance, including WebViews
• CI/CD pipelines (GCP Cloud Build) – optional but valued
• Basic native mobile development: Android (Java) and iOS (Swift) – optional
