Full-Time Faculty – Finance & Accounting

About the role

GBSB Global Business School is looking for a passionate Full‑Time Faculty member to teach Finance and Accounting at its Barcelona campus for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising research projects, and contributing to the school’s academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance and Accounting.
• Supervise undergraduate and master’s dissertations and participate in thesis defence committees.
• Tutor students in Business Research Quantitative Analysis and Business Economics.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and institutional initiatives.
• Conduct research and publish in Scopus‑indexed journals.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of university teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Research expertise in areas such as Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Managerial Accounting, Quantitative Finance, FinTech, or Algorithmic Finance.
• Experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
• Strong command of English (language of instruction).
• Commitment to academic excellence, research, and student success.
