Fullstack Developer – Barcelona (Work & Study Programme)

About the role

Impress, Europe’s leading invisible orthodontics chain, is partnering with Harbour.Space Institute to offer a fully‑funded Master’s scholarship combined with a hands‑on Fullstack Developer position in Barcelona. You will work on a high‑scale healthcare platform while completing your studies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features using Node.js, NestJS and React.
• Own end‑to‑end components from database schema to patient‑facing UI.
• Create and integrate REST APIs and connect with third‑party medical services.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers to ship new functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure reliability, security and performance standards across the platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong Node.js backend expertise (TypeScript, NestJS, API development).
• Solid frontend experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases in production.
• Understanding of REST API design, micro‑services and basic DevOps principles.
• Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.
