GBM Account Manager

About the role

Marsh Health and Benefits is looking for an Account Manager for its Global Benefits Management (GBM) team in Madrid. The GBM team supports multinational clients in designing, coordinating and managing employee benefits programmes across countries, working closely with HR, Reward and Procurement leaders. As Account Manager you will manage a portfolio of multinational clients headquartered in Spain and act as a trusted advisor on employee benefits strategy. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multinational clients, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction and supporting client retention.
• Understand clients' priorities and coordinate across teams so global benefits are delivered in line with clients' guidelines.
• Manage clients' insurable benefits on a daily basis, support implementation, ensure activities are completed on time with high-quality data, and keep internal and external teams aligned.
• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and internal teams, such as Marsh local brokers, and guide internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Manage delivery and materials, present results in client meetings, give renewal directions and compile project timelines.
• Support local and global teams and sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Management, Economics, Law, Sociology, Public Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the employee benefits sector.
• Native-level Spanish and strong written and spoken English (minimum B2).
• Organized, able to manage priorities, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, able to work both in a team and independently, curious and committed to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Confident use of MS Office, including analysing data in Excel and preparing PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience or knowledge of employee benefits, HR and/or general insurance is an advantage.
• A background in consulting or client-facing roles is an advantage.
