General Manager - Iberica (Spain & Portugal)

About the role

Henry Schein is looking for a General Manager to lead the commercial expansion of the BioHorizons Camlog business across Spain and Portugal, driving revenue growth and profitability. You will oversee a sales and marketing team supported by back-office and logistics functions, applying global GORG strategies with local market adaptation, and work closely with global marketing, products and solutions and the Henry Schein Dental partner organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy and profitability across Spain and Portugal, and partner with finance on annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
• Review performance regularly with the Managing Director Central Europe, GORG, and shape regional strategy from local insights
• Build and run integrated sales and education strategies, and develop local marketing initiatives such as campaigns, pricing and partnerships
• Work with the Head of DSO EMEA, GORG to grow corporate and institutional healthcare
• Lead and mentor a sales and back-office team, implement CRM systems and foster a collaborative culture
• Understand the Spanish and Portuguese markets, build strong partner relationships and feed strategic insights to GORG

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (MBA a plus); 10+ years in the medical devices industry with proven commercial success
• Track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams
• Experience in matrix organisations and inspiring cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical mindset, financial acumen and sales force analytics
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish market is essential; Portuguese understanding is highly valued
• Business fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a definite advantage
• Willingness to travel 40-60% within assigned markets
