German Business Development

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a German-speaking business development representative in Barcelona for a global toy and game manufacturer founded 45 years ago, now a network of stockists with turnover of more than €500m. The role is full-time and focuses on finding new retail partners in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Search your territory for new leads, asking only for shop name and phone number
• Approach toy, military, game, tattoo, model, stationery, art, newsagent, book, gift, computer and music shops
• Make many cold calls to potential customers and convince them to talk seriously about trying the product
• Send sample packs to interested shops
• Follow up with sampled shops to get them to start stocking Warhammer under the stockist programme

Required profile

• 2 or more years of sales experience
• C1 or fluent German
• B2 English
• Cold calling experience

Expected results

• Over 50 calls per day
• 12 appointments booked with sample packs sent per week
• Over 8 hours of conversations per week
• 1 new stockist per week
