Global Finance Director

About the role

Fourvenues, a tech platform for event venues covering ticket sales, guest lists, VIP reservations, a POS system, capacity tracking and a CRM, is looking for a Global Finance Director. You will redesign the financial infrastructure, capital strategy, operating model and decision-making frameworks needed to scale the business from €12 million to more than €50 million in revenue, while keeping financial discipline and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define company strategy with the CEO and leadership team, turn priorities into financial plans and investment decisions, and build the financial operating system for international scale.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, and build financial models for new products, markets and initiatives.
• Evaluate major investments across product, sales, marketing, M&A and international expansion, set hurdle rates and define investment frameworks.
• Lead relationships with investors, banks and financial institutions, structure equity, venture debt and alternative financing, and manage investor reporting and board materials.
• Own the payments business: manage payment processors and acquiring banks, optimise costs and acceptance rates, and build financial controls for a high-volume platform.
• Maintain liquidity and cash runway, manage global banking relationships, forecast cash and working capital, and monitor financial risks.
• Evaluate market entry opportunities, design legal and tax structures for international operations, and support expansion into the US and other markets.
• Own the evolution of NetSuite and the finance technology stack, and automate reporting and workflows.
• Ensure global compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements, oversee audits and due diligence, and coordinate with the Legal team on legal structure, incorporation and corporate governance.
• Build, lead and develop the finance and legal teams, and act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board.

Required profile

• Senior experience in strategic finance and FP&A leadership in SaaS or other high-growth B2B environments.
• Proven track record leading fundraising and structuring equity, venture debt or alternative financing.
• Strong experience in capital allocation, investment frameworks and M&A evaluation.
• Hands-on experience owning payments economics and processor relationships.
• Treasury strategy, liquidity management and global banking relationships.
• Experience designing legal and tax structures for international expansion.
• Experience building and developing a high-performing finance team.
• Fluent English; Spanish and other languages are a plus.
