Gobernante/a – Supervisor/a de Housekeeping

About the role

The hotel is looking for a dedicated Gobernante/a to lead the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, especially for VIP rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and distribute work across department sections.
• Supervise preparation and cleaning of rooms, public areas and floor offices.
• Oversee laundry delivery to guests and control related charges.
• Prepare occupancy reports and verify differences with the Reception Manager.
• Monitor the condition of furniture, linen, room installations and laundry machinery.
• Check technical service reports and ensure timely repairs.
• Coordinate room blockings for maintenance operations.
• Establish and verify stock levels of linen, supplies and cleaning materials, controlling related expenses.
• Schedule staff shifts, send attendance records to HR and manage staff leaves.
• Take responsibility for and register any found objects.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• Proven experience as a Sub‑Gobernante/a or Gobernante/a.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office software (ofimática) is valued.
• Strong organisational, communication, initiative and innovation abilities.
