GPO DTS Planning - IBP & PPDS

About the role

Sika, a specialty chemicals company, is looking for a GPO DTS Planning professional based in Alcobendas (Madrid). The role links business strategy to system execution by integrating advanced planning (IBP and PPDS) with core manufacturing execution (MRP, QM, PM, MES) using Sika's global tools.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document global standard processes for the Plan-to-Produce cycle, ensuring data flows between SAP IBP and PPDS and S/4HANA and MES
• Act as a gatekeeper for Global Templates, evaluating change requests so local requirements do not compromise global standardization
• Define global standards for production master data (BOMs, routings, resources) across reporting layers
• Lead the functional design of IBP (Demand, S&OP) and PPDS, and oversee integration of non-SAP tools and MES with the SAP template
• Collaborate with OTC, STP and MD to align their processes with the production schedule
• Identify automation opportunities, create global training materials (e.g. Datango) and set up Global Process Performance Indicators (PPIs)

Required profile

• Deep expertise in SAP IBP (S&OP, Demand, Response & Supply) and PPDS (detailed scheduling)
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Production Bridge (MRP, PP, QM, PM)
• Experience in Global Template environments and defining global master data standards
• Ability to explain complex technical configurations to business stakeholders in terms of value and ROI
• Comfortable working in a matrix organization across time zones and cultures, with strong negotiation skills
• Experience replacing manual Excel/non-SAP tools with automated workflows

Required skills

• Knowledge of how SAP interacts with MES and non-SAP legacy tools via APIs or middleware
• Process mapping tools such as Signavio (Adonis), Datango or Visio
