Head of Finance

About the role

Enginy is a fast‑growing Barcelona‑based startup that uses AI to automate B2B lead generation. We are seeking a Head of Finance to own and develop the company’s financial function, partnering closely with founders, the leadership team, and operational units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and review pricing strategy together with the partnerships team, model unit economics and support deal structuring.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for management and the board, and lead all investor communications.
• Implement and maintain financial controls, manage external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
• Own the business plan and financial model, run forecasting cycles, consolidate budgets and translate strategic decisions into financial scenarios.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance roles (e.g., Head of Finance) within startups, scale‑ups or high‑growth environments.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic mindset comfortable with both strategic and operational tasks.
• Experience interacting with investors, boards and external advisors.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills and fluency in Spanish (and English).
