Head of Financial Accounting & Consolidation

About the role

Stark, a fast‑growing electric motorcycle manufacturer based in Sant Boi (Barcelona), is looking for a Head of Financial Accounting & Consolidation to lead its group accounting, treasury and tax functions. You will ensure transparent, accurate financial reporting and support the company’s rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and group reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies across all entities and coordinate external audits.
• Manage group liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital optimisation and banking relationships.
• Implement treasury policies, including foreign‑exchange risk management and hedging.
• Ensure tax compliance for corporate income tax, VAT and other indirect taxes, and lead tax planning initiatives.
• Establish strong internal controls and continuously improve financial processes to meet regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in group accounting, consolidation and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in treasury management and tax compliance for multinational organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and external auditors.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
