Head of Media Trading

About the role

As Head of Media Trading you will lead Unlimitail’s programmatic and social trading function, shaping strategy across all major platforms. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will build a high‑performing team that drives measurable sales for our retailer partners.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage a team of Media Traders, setting objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Define and continuously improve the end‑to‑end trading workflow from brief intake to activation, optimisation and reporting.
• Monitor campaign KPIs (CPM, CTR, ROAS, viewability, pacing) across platforms and implement optimisation levers to meet targets.
• Produce performance reports and budget pacing recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, platform policies and brand‑safety standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Data and Product teams to translate briefs into effective campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading media trading or programmatic teams in a retail or commerce media environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to campaign optimisation.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, capable of developing junior and senior traders.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑focused culture.
